ezGear launches ezView Leather Case and stand for iPhone 3G

Check out this cool iPhone case, the ezView Leather iPhone case, which also doubles as an iPhone stand.

New cases for the iPhone 3G include a tough-looking leather case with a built-in stand, and a sleek form-fitting case less than 1mm thick.

iPhone 3G accessories are almost as commonplace as iPhones themselves, but that doesn’t mean interesting new items don’t appear on the scene from time to time. Two new iPhone cases do a good job summing up the diversity of the market: one’s a tough, feature-laden leather item, while the other offers slim, barely-there protection.

First up, the ezView Leather Case for iPhone 3G offers a substantial, high-grade black leather case for the iPhone, while still maintaining full access to the unit’s touch screen and home button. The flip case also functions as a built-in stand (with non-skid feet!), handy for watching video, photos, or album art or just taking in all the fish in your iPhone koi pond. The case also provides access to iPhone ports and camera, features a removable spring-loaded belt clip, and features a little storage for credit cards or other small items. The ezView Leather Case for iPhone 3G is available now for $34.99.

If that seems too bulky, the Incipio Feather Slim Form Fitted Case for iPhone 3G is a sleek, protective case made from polymer: it’s less than 1 mm thick and offers a matte finish available in a variety of colors (black, green, turquoise, white, and magenta, at last check). The case comes with two surface protectors for the iPhone 3G screen, and packs a cleaning cloth for the iPhone. The Incipio Feather case is available now for $19.99.

They claim here is that it isn’t just any old book case, but that it packs 12 features into one package.

1. High Grade Leather

2. Complete access to the screen

3. Home Button Access

4. Build in Stand

5. Protective cover with velcro closure

6. Credit Card/Business Card Slots

7. Top and Bottomaccess to allcontrols and Ports

8. Sturdy Velcro Latch

9. Ultra-Slim Profile

10. Removablespring loaded Belt Clip

11. Non-skid Low Profile Rubber Feet Keep Your Player in Place

12. View hole for your iPhone Camera

The case certainly looks good enough, but the concept of 12 features might be just a bit of a stretch, especially since most any decent case you can find will have something like home button access. One extra thing the case does have going for it is affordability (it’s a good $20 cheaper than a Sena case I’m looking at). The case is available in black and is actually being offered at an introductory price of $32.99.
