Guide on how to Connect WinSCP to the iPhone

WinSCP provides safe functionality of copying files between local and remote terminals. It supports SFTP and SCP protocols over SSH-1 and SSH-2 and plain old FTP protocol.

Guide How To connect the iPhone to WinSCP:

1. Install BSD subsystem and OpenSSH on iPhone, these applications are available in Cydia or Installer Apps. (You need a jailbroken iPhone)

2. Connect iPhone to WI-FI.
3. Find out IP address of iPhone. (Settings -> Wi-Fi->View the details of selected network)
4. Open WinSCP application from your computer.

5. Provide IP address of iPhone. Use user name as ROOT and password ALPINE or DOTTIE.

6. Click on login.
7. You’ll see iPhone directories and files.

    I am currently connecting vis USB with the help of iPhone Tunnel Suite but over Wifi used to work just fine as well..

    i can’t connect my iPhone os 2.1 to winscp
    i already installed openssh
    and an error always show up and it said no route to host
    and where can i fin bsd sub system in cydia??

    please some one help me
