A few Negatives to iPad : You cant run a real OS on this. You can’t multi-task, No flash support, there’s no camera, could not be connected to a larger display.
All of the built-in apps on iPad were designed from the ground up to take advantage of the large Multi-Touch screen. And they work in any orientation. So you can do things with these that apps you can’t do on any other device. These include Safari, Mail, Photos, Youtube, iPod, iTunes, App store, iBooks, Maps, Notes, Calender & Contacts.
It starts at $499 for 16GB, 32GB for $599, and $699 64GB. Adding 3G costs a $130 per model, so the most expensive model (64GB / 3G) is $829. The WiFi-only model will ship in 60 days, and the 3G models will come in 90.

In regard to sharing the screen, there are some apps for that, but you would still need a mac or pc setup to connect to.
I’m also disappointed that this really isn’t a full working OS… no flash is a bummer. I’m on the fence whether or not to get one. I’d use it more if it had more laptop functionality. Though, I’m sure it’d be great for reading and surfing (minus the lack of flash).
