CamelBrowserSid is a new app released by BigBoss under CYDIA. It’s a new web browser for your iPhone that just might quickly replace the stock Safari one… Faster and with a better UI I consider it a quite promising and since it’s still at an early beta stage “version 0.0.3″ there’s still plenty of room improvements … Recommended to take for a spin

There is a downside to it though as it is a free app, they added a splash page that shows a block of google adsense ads each time the app is loading. Meaning in order to start the browser you’ll will need to press on “start” first. Hopefully he’ll eventually add the option to purchase the app for a nominal fee to get rid of that slight annoyance.

Geohot’s Blackra1n 2 minute jailbreak tool saved many of us wanting to upgrade our iPhones to the latest 3.1.2 Firmware but it also came with a few flaws.

As it didn’t add the AFC2 support to the jailbreaked iPhone many handy 3rd party applications such as: Diskaid, iPhonebrowser, iFunbox, etc that needed the afc2 service to access the iPhone to transfer files such as Winterboard themes, etc stopped working (Meaning you can’t access the root partition of your drive with desktop clients).

GeoHotz later tweeted that he disabled it because of issues with Blackra1n and said to simply look arround cydia for a quick fix.

To resolve the issue:

Load up Cydia to search and install a fix called “afc2add”. Once rebooted Diskaid, iPhone browser, iFunbox or other file browser should be working again!
